COME BOWL WITH US!

Shared Adventures invites you, your friends and co-workers to celebrate our 25th anniversary of providing activities and recreation for those with disabilities and challenges on Sat. May 18, from 3:30pm-5:30pm at our first annual Bowl-a-thon at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk Bowl.

This FUN AFTERNOON will help us raise money to support the ongoing programs of Shared Adventures. You don’t have to have any bowling ability and EVERYONE AND ANYONE CAN AND WILL BOWL! The bowling alley has rails that go up automatically for any bowler that requests, making it easier to bowl. There will be a “lucky draw” contest for all bowlers and bowling snacks too!

You can join us with a team or as an individual. Once registered, you can ask family, friends and coworkers to join your team or sponsor you in pledges of $.05 or $.10 or even $1.00 per pin.

Don’t have an entire team? Don’t worry! Sign up as an individual bowler and we’ll place you with other awesome people. We need your help to raise money for Shared Adventures!

There is a maximum of 5 people per team. Registration fee is $25 per bowler and includes two games of bowling, bowling shoes and free parking. Ask your family, friends or coworkers and make a team!

We are always searching for new, fun activities to add to our calendar, so keep checking back for updates!

Our goal is to offer opportunities for social and recreational interaction for disabled people, and thereby encourage:

  • Personal growth, development, and self-confidence
