How to Participate:
Bowl:
- Grab up to five of your favorite people to bowl with you, join an existing team, or sign up as a single bowler. No bowling experience is necessary! Get started right away… pick your team, select a team name, and sign up! A team captain may have multiple teams.
- Click Here to register your team. Choose a team name. Each team may have up to 6 bowlers.
- **To get a t-shirt, you must register to bowl by July 20th.
- Come bowling with us! You can join an existing team or let us assign you to a team that needs bowlers. The bowler registration fees of $30.00 per person includes bowling shoes and 2 hours of bowling. Register to Bowl Here
- You can direct your sponsors – friends and family – to the website to make their donations on behalf of your team with a credit or debit card through PayPal. - You can create a team or join an existing team.
- We ask that each team collectively raise money for the event. Donations must be received by day of event (checks and cash may be handed in during check-in on day of event). DOWNLOAD BOWLER PLEDGE SHEET
- Team Captains – please make sure all of your teammates know the date, time and location of the event. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, get your shoes, and get any special instructions. Don’t forget your socks!
How to Contribute:
Sponsor: There are three sponsorship levels that include a variety of great benefits. (See Sponsorship Opportunities below.) SPONSOR NOW!
Donate: Make a donation to a team or individual bowler, or donate to the event. You can donate any amount you’d like. All donations are appreciated! DONATE NOW!
- SET A GOAL. Don’t underestimate yourself.
- START EARLY. Don’t wait until the last minute. It’s never too early.
- JUST ASK. Don’t be afraid. Ask people to “help you support Recreation and Athletics for Individuals with Disabilities”. Ask everyone: family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, your boss, hairdresser, dentist, or doctor. Remember that your friends and family want to support you, so don’t be shy!
- SEND A LETTER or EMAIL. Write a simple letter to friends and family members. Tell them why you are bowling and ask them to support you by making a contribution. Include a return envelope by mail and a link to our donation page for online donations (www.bowlathon.net/manage/event/rad-bowlathon-2025/donation/create). This is a painless way to ask and brings in a surprising amount of donations!

Mission Statement
Recreation and Athletics for Individuals with Disabilities’ (RAD) mission is to assist individuals with disabilities who want to participate in recreational, athletic, and social activities with financial support.
What is the RAD Bowl-a-Thon?
Brought to you by RAD in collaboration with Chandler Adaptive Recreation, the RAD Bowl-a-thon is designed to be a fun, inclusive environment that fosters connection between supporters, families, and individuals with disabilities. Get ready for two hours of exciting bowling, including complimentary shoe rental.
All registered participants will receive a swag bag, and everyone will have a chance to win awesome prizes in our event raffle. Plus, there will be levels of prizes for participants who help raise donations. Don’t miss out on the fun, prizes, and community spirit!
What is RAD?
Recreation and Athletics for the Disabled (RAD) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Chandler, Arizona. Founded by parents of individuals with disabilities and other dedicated community members, RAD is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing access to recreational and athletic opportunities.
RAD partners closely with the City of Chandler, which offers a wide range of adaptive sports, fitness programs, and social activities throughout the year. These include bowling, softball, golf, track, tennis, and other therapeutic sports, as well as inclusive social events such as dances, pool parties, and movie nights at local theaters.
RAD raises funds to cover the costs of registration fees, equipment, and transportation for participants. Our mission is RAD Pays So Others Can Play.

The Bowl-a-thon is a key fundraising event dedicated to supporting RAD’s mission: to make sports, dances, and special family events accessible to individuals with disabilities through the City of Chandler Adaptive Recreation programs.
Our motto, “RAD pays so others can play,” reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for community members with disabilities by removing financial barriers to participation.
