OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help families experiencing homelessness and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Our programs include:
Emergency Shelter – Our Emergency Shelter Program offers shelter to families in Ontario County with at least one child under 18. Eligibility requires passing a background check and being employed or willing to work.
Eviction Prevention – Our Eviction Prevention Program offers one-time rental assistance to families in Ontario County with at least one child under 18 who have received an eviction notice.
Shelter Diversion – Our Shelter Diversion Program provides support with a security deposit or first month’s rent for families in Ontario County with at least one child under 18.
Stabilization Program – Our Stabilization Program offers continued support to families who have completed our Emergency Shelter Program. We help families stay housed through ongoing case management and training programs, including budgeting, landlord-tenant relations, and career development.
Community Outreach Assistance – Our Community Outreach Program connects individuals and families to resources from other agencies when we’re unable to provide direct assistance. This program also offers occasional financial help and distributes essentials like food or necessities to those in need.
