Why your participation is important:
Wellspring provides needed services to those individuals and families who primarily reside within a 2.5 mile radius of the center of the city of Fort Wayne. These participants often come to Wellspring seeking hope, help and friendship. All programs are provided at no cost to participants.
Wellspring Interfaith Social Services prides itself on three main areas of community service including:
- Youth Services (Youth After School and Summer Day and Overnight Camps);
- Older Adult Program; and
- Neighborhood Services (Food Bank, Parent Club and Information and Referral).
Through an effort to provide dignity and respect to all Wellspring participants, Wellspring stresses diversity in programming and those we serve. In fact, Wellspring’s youngest participant being just 4 years old and the most senior at 104 years old.
Bowling for Wellspring is an excellent opportunity for individuals, congregations, families and friends to give back to the community and have a great time.
Your participation in Bowling for Wellspring will directly benefit Wellspring’s service programs. Every pledge goes on to benefit a child in our Summer Day Camp Program, feed a member of our Food Bank or support a senior in our Older Adult Program.
Wellspring’s programs touched the lives of 3,415 individuals in 2012 and we have seen growth so far in 2013.
