About Our Event

100% of the Fundraiser will go to scholarships to provide financial assistance to Locust Valley High School seniors going to 2 or 4 year colleges who would otherwise not be able to afford the cost, and so improve the quality of their lives.
 

About Michael Trama

Michael was a lifelong Bayville, New York resident. He died unexpectedly on March 12, 2010 at the age of 38 due to an undiagnosed Astrocytoma, an incurable malignant brain tumor. He was the husband of Diana, and the father of Adriana, Juliana and Max. He was a Registered Nurse, employed as the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Long Island State Veterans Home at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, was an exempt Member of Bayville Fire Company, (13 Years of Active Duty) and founding Board Member of the Locust Valley Bayville Soccer Club. Michael had a big heart, a big smile, and a wonderful love for his family, friends, patients, and his community.
