REGISTER!
Register your team by signing up on-line or by contacting the Kansas City Anti-Violence Project (816-560-0550). Lanes are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

RECRUIT SOME MORE!
Encourage those who don’t want to bowl to sign up as fans and come cheer you on, or to sign up as virtual bowlers and help with the fundraising!

SET GOALS!
Review the fundraising levels and rewards available and commit to the total amount of funds each team member will raise individually as well as an overall team goal.

COMMUNICATE!
Communicate to your team about your event. Meet a few times before the Bowl-A-Thon or keep in touch via e-mail and or conference calls.



MOTIVATE!
Keep team members dedicated to raising their individual goals and surpassing your team goal. Use the prize structure as a motivation tool. A little friendly competition can go a long way; remember, prizes are based on funds raised!



FUNDRAISING IDEAS FOR TEAMS... GIVE PEOPLE A REASON TO GIVE!

• Ask four individuals to match your donation by giving $20 each (i.e. family, friends, club members, co-workers)
• Send your prospects to this website
• Ask a Kansas City Anti-Violence Project representative to speak at a meeting or event
• Use your online team page to solicit donations and maintain friendly competitions
